... Is Before The Games 07/08/2013

KCG and WDSF Leaders Even in Cali and with the games there in full swing, the upcoming World DanceSport Games (WDSG) in Kaohsiung were the topic of several discussions held between City Government and WDSF officials.

Preparations for DanceSport's very own multidisciplinary event are going well. All 800 participants (athletes as well as officials) were accredited as scheduled by the end of June. A host broadcaster was appointed in July. And a large-scale promotional campaign for the games is currently underway in Taiwan.

Part of this campaign is the project "Do Your Dance in Kaohsiung." Under the games' official slogan, the City Government rallies to get the residents ready to perform the dance routine to Donna Summer's song "Stamp Your Feet" flash mob-style on the last day of the games. WDSF and its National Member Bodies are also in the process of getting WDSG participants ready to stamp their feet and to join thousands of residents on 20 September.

DanceSport Canada was first in submitting a video with dancers "stamping" to Donna Summer's song. Team Canada around Anton Belyayev and Antoaneta Popova is definitely ready to perform the DYD routine flash mob-style at the WDSF World DanceSport Games 2013 in Kaohsiung, TPE.

WDSF and the 2013 Kaohsiung organisers appreciate the other delegations to the DanceSport Games submitting their videos too!
