2011 WDSF World Youth Standard 17/12/2011

World Youth Standard We would have liked to report extensively on this, the very last World Championship in 2011 too.

But our budget is more than exhausted after producing coverage on WDSF championships and Grand Slam events from around the world.

What we really appreciate is the fact that we seem to have a loyal following for our "Live from ..." blogs and our video coverage by now. Today, with the World Youth Standard being contested in Riga, LAT, we have received a number of enquiries as to where up-to-the-minute news on the event is available.

Britta Reichelt from Germany asks: "Do we get here some results from Riga this weekend?" Our answer: "Yes!"

1 Artem Bronnikov - Dariya Grishko Russia
2 Evgeny Nikitin - Dana Spitsyna Russia
3 Dmitri Kolobov - Signe Busk Denmark
4 Patrick Rucinski - Ella Nusenbaum Canada
5 Valts Liepnieks - Inese Zari?a Latvia
6 Michelangelo Longo - Marialuisa Longo Italy

Follow-Up

The following two messages reached us concerning the photograph that was previously posted here (as well as on the home page) ...

I notice that on WDSF site there is a photo of Mr Igor Kruglov and Ms Olga Scherbina (last year's champions atthe World Youth Standard) instead of Mr Artem Bronnikov and Ms Daria Gryshko (winners of WDSF World Youth Standard in Riga last weekend). Please be so kind to ask the responsible person to change the photo. Thanks!

We are sorry to interrupt you, but you put a photo of the previous world champions Kruglov -Sherbina instead of Bronnikov - Grishko. Please, solve this problem.

We did. The picture above is from the 2011 World Youth Standard in Riga, unfortunately we didn't have one of the new champions. If you do, please send it and we redo the post once more.

Another Follow-Up

Artem Bronnikov - Daria Gryshko, RUS Not even one hour later, we have received a picture of Mr Artem Bronnikov and Ms Daria Gryshko, the 2011 WDSF World Youth Standard Champions, thanks!
