05/05/2024 read more ...First it was scheduled to take place in Seoul, KOR, but after the organisers had to back out of their commitment to host it there in spring for the next five years, a new search was started. A number of different National Member Bodies (NMB) looked int their options to organise in either spring/early summer or - alternatively - in September. In the end it was the Chinese Taipei DanceSport Federation(CTDSF) under its new President Mary Yehliu who got the award. CTDSF will stage the GrandSlam Latin on 30 June and the STD on 1 July.
WDSF wishes to thank all other NMBs for their efforts in trying to jump in and help out by organising this GrandSlam leg. The Series itself has firm long-term commitments (through 2022) in place with Rimini, ITA, Stuttgart, GER, and Moscow, RUS. During the remainder of this year, it will try to add two new locations - preferably one in Asia and the other in Europe - to the Series 2019 - 2022.
