Andrey Zaytsev and Anna Kuzminskaya, RUS 05/12/2016

Moscow, RUS - 4 December 2016 © Anashina It had all the traits of a déjà-vu! Here were two 2016 PD World Champions, still in the prime of their sporting lives, who had just been honoured with gold medals, flowers and a standing ovation that followed their national anthem being played at the Moscow World Trade Centre ... Then they stepped down from the podium and announced their retirement from active competition. Just as Emanuel Valeri and Tania Kehlet did in Professional Standard, the 2016 WDSF PD World Champions Latin made this their last competition, their last victory and their last title. After a long and exceptionally successful career together!

Their dance of honour and farewell Rumba put tears in everyone's eyes! Sasha Melnikov caught up with Andrey and Anna a little bit later.
