From Monza to Mons ... 18/05/2011

DO World DanceSport

Remember Monza 2006? The first IDSF World DanceSport Championship Senior II Standard was a tremendous success! While normally only two couples per country are nominated for representation in such a championship, this was the first one organised as "Open to the World!" Ever since, well over 200 Senior II couples take the opportunity year after year to meet and match up with their fellow competitors from around the world.

The IDSF Presidium has decided to install IDSF World DanceSport Championships for Sen III Standard as "Open to the World" too. After discussing the matter with the organisers, it is is our pleasure to inform you that the first ever World Senior III Standard takes place in Mons, BEL, on 22 October 2011.

That makes for yet another season highlight after the European Masters Games: they will take place in September in Lignano, ITA.
