As you are aware, WDSF has stepped up efforts to make media coverage on its championships and premier competitions available to the public at large. Whether for a television programme, a live stream on YouTube or an article, the producers of such coverage depend on your active collaboration in making some background on your person and your career in DanceSport available.

As an athlete competing in WDSF competitions you are a public figure in the sense that your name appears in our database together with that of your partner, your results and your World Ranking points. By adding just a little bit of colour and depth, you will make this figure much more compelling for the media and the people who take an interest in DanceSport. Please, fill in at least some of the fields in the Profile section – it should take all of two minutes! The WDSF Communications team appreciates your help in this important matter.

WDSF assures you that your data – to the extent that you provide it – will be dealt with exactly as outlined in the WDSF Privacy Policy and in other documents (i.e. WDSF Athlete’s ID Card application), and that all privacy laws applicable in your country will be respected by WDSF and its National Member Bodies.
