Latin Formations wrapped up the Season 2023 22/12/2023

2023 WDSF World Championship Formation Latin in Hong Kong The WDSF DanceSport Season 2023 came to a flamboyant and explosive end as one of the most anticipated Championship events of the year, the 2023 WDSF World Championship Formation Latin took place in Hong Kong last week.

Twelve colorful formations, four of them newcomers, representing eight National Member Bodies, entered the floor and amazed the cheering spectators with their creativity, precision of technique and storytelling combined with carefully selected music. It was practically impossible to watch the routines without clapping, stomping or cheering - just like the coaches who were seated on one side of the floor during the performances were doing.

Grün-Gold-Club Bremen (GER) entered the floor as defending World Champions, and after the results were shown it became clear that the reign remained in Bremen for the fifth year in a row. About one point in scores behind were HSV Zwölfaxing A-Team (AUT), reaching the World Championship podium for the first time. Moon Dance (MGL)maintained their ranking in top 3 by winning the bronze medals.

As the events fall silent for the holiday season, we can look back to another successful DanceSport year, not only with Championship events, but also for the Open, International Open and World Open events which were organized during the season. We want to congratulate and thank all the athletes and organizers for their role in creating such a successful yearwith us!
