Three couples dominated the DanceSport decathlon over the past two years. Above all Miha Vodicar and Nadiya Bychkova, SLO, excelled with two World and one European Champion titles. Jaak Vainomaa and Taina Savikurki, FIN, won the European title in 2014 and never placed lower than third during that period. Daniil Ulanov and Kateryna Isakovych have been runners-up in the two World Championships.
Jaak and Taina will be in Copenhagen. And so will Daniil and Kateryna, this time under the flag of Cyprus | CORRIGENDUM | Miha and Nadiya, however, choose not defend their title. They haven't danced since last September. And they keep their plans for the future to themselves. It would be great to see them competing again. Whenever! Maybe as professionals?
WDSF Communications is on location at the Tivoli: Helmut Roland will provide photos and videos from the eight rounds of dancing. Stay tuned!
26 couples representing as many countries are on the Starting List!
