New European Champions 19/02/2017

Dumitru Doga - Sarah Ertmer, GER Roland That the 2017 European Ten Dance would produce new champions was expected from the moment that two previous holders of the title wdid not enter this year's event in Copnhagen. Jaak Vainomaa - Taina Savikurki, FIN, and Konstantin Gorodilov - Dominika Bergmannova, EST, have  not - as best we know - made any official announcements regarding their careers in Ten Dance, but they refrained from dancing in Copenhagen.

In the end, the new European Champions in Ten Dance are the Germans Dumitru Doga and Sarah Ertmer, who danced very convincingly last night and kept the five runners-up at bay and in the following order behind them:

2. Nikolaj Lund - Marta Kocik
3. Kirill Medianov - Elisaveta Semjonova
4. David Odstrcil - Tara Bohak
5. Daniil Ulanov - Kateryna Isakovych
6. Marts Punins - Dana Jakobsone

After all technical problems were solved last night, we had a quality stream from the Tivoli Centre in Copenhagen available on this website. It is still available below, all four hours of it, featuring the two semi-finals and finals.

Should you prefer to follow a  live webcast covering competitions held as part of the Hungarian Open in Budapes todayt, that's possible! Two HD streams are available under this link:
