32 couples represented their countries at the 2013 World Cup Latin in the Vienna-Schwechat Multiversum. This new hall, which is also the venue for the 2013 WDSF World Championship Ten Dance and the 20th Austrian Open Championships, proved to be a perfect location for such an event.

After cancellations due to health problems of three couples in the very last moment – one of them was Gabriele Goffredo and Anna Matus, MDA -  and one late entry, 32 couples showed up at the competition. It was not only a bad time for some couples, three adjudicators had to cancel too - even on the competition day. So for the organisers it was thrilling up to the first round.

In the end the audience enjoyed a seven-couple final, with three top favorites for the podium and close decisions from places to 4 to 7.
