TWG 2017 11/11/2015

Centennial Hall Wroclaw As in 2009 and 2013 DanceSport is challenged to put in a concvincing appearance at The World Games 2017 (TWG 2017) too, when the multi-sport event is held from 20 to 30 July in the Polish city of Wroclaw.

The venue that the organisers assigned to the DanceSport events is the 10,000-capacity Centennial Hall, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. With WDSF aspiring to register a third consecutive sell-out audience in The World Games, extensive pre-Games promotion will be of crucial importance.

An excellent opportunity for such promotion comes up on 14 May 2016, when the WDSF European Standard is held in Wroclaw. The preparations for that and for The World Games in 2017 are in progress. TWG 2017 organisers and members of the board of the International World Games Association, including WDSF First Vice-President Lukas Hinder, met last week as Coordinating Committee to confirm that they are on track and on schedule.
