Daniel Stehlin, SUI, was the only candidate and elected unanimously as the new chairman of the Disciplinary Council.
The Swiss lawyer works as a public prosecutor and heads the Special Office for Prosecuting Organised Crime in the canton of Basel Land.
In his acceptance speech, Stehlin thanked the delegates in Berlin for their confidence and pledged to work expeditiously as chair of the Disciplinary Council.
All the other current members of the Disciplinary Council were re-elected to the term 2012 - 2013. Erich Staeldi agreed to stand for election as a Council Vice-President for a term of one year, until the 2013 General Meeting.
